This position is responsible for reviewing and logging the sample test methodology, specifications, and unit designations for tests to be performed. Client requirements must be matched against the client’s Chain of Custody documentation, verification of test database and IRVINE’s test codes to ensure that the correct test is performed. The candidate must be able to maintain and update of the chemical inventory, communicate any discrepancies, issues or problems with the client. Must have exceptional communication skills, an acute sense of urgency and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines. Responsible for collaborating effectively and mobilizing all appropriate IRVINE resources. Achieve performance objectives. Other responsibilities as directed. Requires a B.S. in Chemistry or a related field and 0 to 4+ year of experience. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines. Excellent instrumentation, computer, and people skills. Successful candidates must be proactive and creative, well organized, willing to work both independently and as a team player, and have excellent communication skills.
