Irvine’s new rapid mycoplasma detection, using the MycoAlert® Luminescent Assay,
detects more than 96% of all mycoplasma/Mollicute infections of cultured cells. The
assay offers the specificity you need, measuring the activity of two enzymes found only
in mycoplasma and the Mollicute family. It has a high level of sensitivity as well,
detecting as few as 50 cfu per ml, all within two business days.
